The Young Victoria

This is the first historically-accurate movie I have seen that does not have any bad scenes or language in it that I can remember. And wow, was it good! Starring Emily Blunt (The Wolfman) and Rupert Friend (Pride and Prejudice), to name a few of the many and very talented actors and actresses in this film. It starts out with Victoria telling about her childhood, being one of seclusion from almost everything normal, being a prisoner in a palace, never being able to do what she wanted, really, and all was found out with she turned 11, to be for her protection, since she was the only heir of brothers, either kings or dukes, and would inherit the royal title as queen when the last king died. She meets a prince (Albert), and they become friends instantly, though his uncle had first had him in the 'friend' position as a main way of getting information to help Germany, but since Albert really was a friend and really did like her for her, his 'mission' failed. x) This movie was so well-made, it is a photographer's dream to be able to see all the true colors, all the focus-changes, all the beauty of England presented as it was. I loved it. =) It is around 105 minutes long, rated PG for smoking, brief violence and incidental language, and some sensuality. No scenes whatsoever, and I did not notice the 'language' being harsh or anything like that. Most of the things in this movie are accurate, though some were put in to add some thrill to the movie, and that they did. It is an AMAZING movie, I would give it more than 5 stars. =)
